Ulf Kristersson, leader of the Moderate Party in Sweden, has addressed the recent statement made by Richard Jomshofs, chairman of the Justice Committee, in which Jomshofs referred to the Prophet Muhammad as a mass murderer, slave trader, and robber. Kristersson stated that he does not take responsibility for what others say, acknowledging that there are many people currently making foolish comments that can create real danger.
Kristersson emphasizes that in Sweden, people have the right to criticize a religion, and it is legitimate to criticize Islam. However, he expresses criticism towards individuals who exploit a situation and spread dangerous hatred that can harm Sweden. He believes that it is essential to consider whether such actions are beneficial or harmful to the country, noting that not everything legal is appropriate. Therefore, Kristersson urges everyone to reflect on their words, as they can have consequences.
