Danelo Cavalcante, den undflyende mördaren.

Danelo Cavalcante, 34, sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his ex-girlfriend, has escaped from prison and is reportedly spreading terror in Pennsylvania, USA. Surveillance cameras have captured his presence in the area, prompting authorities to issue warnings to residents to stay indoors and lock their doors and cars. Cavalcante was sentenced to life in prison just a few weeks ago after murdering Deborah Brandão in 2021, in front of her two young children. He fled from Chester prison in Pocopson Township on Thursday morning, leaving authorities puzzled as to how he managed to escape and whether he had help from insiders. He was captured on a surveillance camera a few kilometers from the prison on Saturday night. A search operation involving hundreds of police officers is underway, and the police believe he may attempt to break into homes in the area. Cavalcante’s appearance remains unchanged, according to the district attorney. He was previously wanted for another murder in his home country of Brazil. Authorities have warned residents to exercise caution and have offered a reward for information leading to his capture.
