Yesterday it became clear that 56 individuals with ties to Norway, including 25 children, will be allowed to leave Gaza on Sunday, confirms Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide to Norwegian NRK.
He emphasizes, however, that the situation is still uncertain.
”Even though we have this agreement with all those in charge, a lot can happen, it is a demanding situation,” he says.
According to a list from the border authorities, there are 56 individuals with ties to Norway who are allowed to leave on Sunday. 25 of them are minors and the youngest is an infant.
Out of the 56, 44 have Norwegian citizenship, eleven are Palestinians, and according to reports, one is Swedish.
