Linda Båge Hemmestad has been collecting Christmas gifts for families through the Secret Santa association with her husband Tom during the holiday season for eight years. As the association has become more well-known, more people reach out for help.
”I am impressed by the people who contact us because they need help. It takes courage to do that,” she says.
How many Christmas gifts do you receive?
”Difficult question, but we receive enough gifts for all children to have some presents.”

Her 10-year-old daughter, Alice Båge Hemmestad, is used to helping out with the collection.
”I receive Christmas gifts and give them to those who work here.”
