SubZero E-games, the LAN event, will be held for the first time on the 7th-9th of June. It is an event for gaming enthusiasts and aims to attract 1000 players and over 10,000 visitors from across Sweden.
The plan is for the event to become an annual tradition and for Östersund to become an E-sports city.
According to the organizers, this LAN event will be unique in the sense that anyone can sign up and compete against the world’s elite in Counter-Strike, offering the chance for a quick career in the sport.
