Bol had her training partner Lieke Klaver right behind her at the bend. Klaver kept up until the final curve before Bol pulled away.
Klaver secured second place by running a time of 50.16 and hugged Bol immediately after crossing the finish line.
Two weeks ago, Bol set a world record by running 49.24 at home in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. Once again, Klaver, who is always in Bol’s shadow, finished second.
