Stockholm Pride Parade expected to attract 50,000 participants and half a million spectators in Sweden. Despite an increased terror threat in the country, the police have stated that there is no heightened threat specifically against the Pride event. Pride organizer, Fredrik Saweståhl, feels safe and reassured by the close collaboration between the police, security agencies, and the Pride organization. No additional security measures have been implemented this year compared to previous years, and both the police and Pride organizers encourage participants to live their lives normally while remaining vigilant.
